Job descriptionMinimum 7 years of hands-on experience in ETL testing with strong knowledge of data warehousing concepts. Expertise in API automation testing across SOAP, REST, and GraphQL protocols. Proficient in SOAP UI tool along with Groovy scripting for test automation. Strong Java programming skills for test development and customization. Solid experience in parsing and asserting API responses in JSON and XML formats. Good understanding of Agile methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams. Experience with SQL for data validation and query writing. Familiarity with test automation frameworks and CI / CD pipelines. Exposure to performance and security testing is a plus.
Key Responsibilities :
- Lead and manage ETL testing activities for large-scale data warehousing projects.
- Design, develop, and execute automated API tests for SOAP, REST, and GraphQL services.
- Utilize SOAP UI with Groovy scripting to enhance test automation frameworks.
- Write and maintain Java scripts to support automation and validation efforts.
- Parse and validate API responses in JSON and XML formats, ensuring data integrity and functional correctness.
- Collaborate with development, QA, and business teams to define test plans, strategies, and ensure thorough test coverage.
- Drive continuous improvement in testing processes, tools, and methodologies.
- Participate actively in Agile ceremonies like sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Mentor and guide junior testers, promoting best practices and knowledge sharing.
