What's this role about

The role would require you to work on Next-gen data platforms, in-memory engines, distributed systems at terabyte scale, even quantum computing explorations.

What You'll Work On

• Own the data architecture : define entity models, keys, and grains; establish modeling standards and guardrails for reliable querying at scale.
• Design efficient access patterns across heterogeneous data sources : choose when to virtualize / federate vs. materialize; favor pushdown and late binding to minimize data movement.
• Establish governance & security by design : implement RBAC, row / column-level security, masking, and retention; ensure policies are consistently enforced and auditable.
• Enable lineage, quality, and trust : integrate schema / lineage capture, freshness / SLA monitoring, and reproducibility artifacts so answers can be explained and re-run
• Analyze database design and architecture requirements for the distributed applications
• Design the databases for the microservices with well defined bounded context and interaction
• Develop, construct, test and maintain existing and new data-driven architectures
• Align architecture with business requirements and provide solutions which fits best to solve the business problems
• Build the infrastructure required for optimal extraction, transformation, and loading of data from a wide variety of data sources on the Cloud (AWS / GCP). Using well defined ETL tools like PySpark, Data Flow.
