Technical Illustrator

We are seeking a skilled

Technical Illustrator

with a strong background in the

Aerospace industry

to create detailed, accurate, and visually engaging illustrations for technical manuals, maintenance guides, training materials, and engineering documentation. The ideal candidate will have experience interpreting complex engineering data and transforming it into clear, user-friendly visual content.

Key Responsibilities :

Create high-quality 2D and 3D technical illustrations for aerospace systems, components, and assemblies.

Collaborate with engineers, technical writers, and subject matter experts to understand illustration requirements.

Interpret engineering drawings, CAD models, and specifications to produce accurate visuals.

Ensure compliance with aerospace standards (e.g., ATA iSpec 2200, S1000D).

Update and revise existing illustrations based on engineering changes or feedback.

Maintain illustration libraries and version control.

Support the development of interactive electronic technical manuals (IETMs) and training content.

Required Qualifications :

Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Technical Illustration, Graphic Design, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.

2-6+ years of experience as a Technical Illustrator in the Aerospace domain.

Proficiency in illustration tools such as Adobe Illustrator, CorelDRAW, AutoCAD, and 3D modeling software (e.g., SolidWorks, CATIA, Creo).

Strong understanding of aerospace components, systems, and maintenance procedures.

Familiarity with technical publication standards (ATA iSpec 2200, S1000D).

Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently or in a team.

Preferred Skills :

Experience with AR / VR content creation for aerospace training.

Knowledge of XML-based authoring tools and content management systems.

Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
