AS400 Programmer Analyst Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining an AS400 environment, scheduling application jobs, creating and maintaining RPG programs and CL programs, and serving as a subject matter expert for MacPac and iSeries / AS400 servers.

Main Responsibilities :

Manage daily operations of IT functions.
Apply experience and expertise to reach solutions.
Identify trends in technology and take action to improve the business.

Detailed Responsibilities :

Manage day-to-day operations of IT functions.

Create and maintain RPG programs and CL programs.

Schedule application jobs, both financial and manufacturing.

Experienced in AS400 Queries, SQL, and FTP processes.

Serve as Subject Matter Expert for MacPac and iSeries / AS400 servers.

Required Skills and Qualifications :

Experience with AS400 programming languages such as RPG and CL.

Knowledge of SQL and database management.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
