Position Overview :
We are seeking an experienced Manager Design (Hybrid) to play a pivotal role in driving the design vision and strategy, and shaping exceptional user experiences that delight and engage our customers. Lead a talented team of designers and provide guidance and support in their career progression within the UX design field. Identify their strengths and areas for growth, and create personalized development plans to help them achieve their professional goals. Encourage collaboration and knowledge sharing by organizing design reviews, brainstorming sessions, and cross-functional workshops. Create an environment that fosters open communication, constructive critique, and the exchange of ideas, enabling the team to learn from each other and collectively elevate their design capabilities.
With 10-15 years of work experience, you will bring a wealth of expertise in UX design, visual design, and interaction design to drive the creation of exceptional user experiences across multiple digital platforms. Your responsibilities will also include creating interactive mock-ups to effectively communicate your design ideas.
Responsibilities :
- Provide design direction and leadership for the UX design team, driving the development and execution of core UX design projects and initiatives. Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to align design efforts with business goals and user needs.
- Manage and mentor a team of UX designers and Visual Designers, fostering their professional growth and guiding their work towards delivering high-quality, user-centered designs. Set clear expectations, provide feedback, and promote a collaborative and inspiring work environment.
- Set high standards for UX design, ensuring that the team produces intuitive, engaging, and visually appealing user experiences. Lead by example by actively participating in design activities, conducting research, creating wireframes and prototypes, and delivering high-quality designs.
- Drive user research initiatives to gain deep insights into user behaviors, needs, and pain points. Utilize research findings to inform design decisions, validate design concepts, and ensure that our digital products effectively meet user expectations and business objectives.
- Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, developers, and other stakeholders to translate business requirements into effective design solutions. Effectively communicate design concepts, rationale, and user insights to stakeholders, fostering a shared understanding and driving alignment.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in UX design. Share knowledge and insights with the team, driving innovation and continuous improvement in design processes and :
- 10-15 years of professional experience in UX design, visual design, and interaction design, preferably in a hybrid role, with a proven track record of leading successful UX design projects in both B2C and B2B product contexts.
- In-depth knowledge of UX design principles, usability testing, user research methodologies, and data-driven design.
- Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, InVision, or equivalent.
- Proficiency in research, analytics, and ideation tools such as Google Analytics, Optimal Workshop, UserTesting, SurveyMonkey, Mural, Miro, Figjam, or equivalent.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate designers to deliver their best work.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively articulate design concepts, strategies, and insights to both business and technical stakeholders.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating a track record of successful UX design projects, showcasing your ability to solve complex design challenges and deliver high-quality, user-centered designs.
- Up-to-date knowledge of design trends, industry standards, and emerging technologies.
