Job Description : UI / UX Freelance Designer

Overview

We're looking for an experienced and highly creative UI / UX Freelance Designer to collaborate with our team on exciting, user-centred digital projects. You will be responsible for conceptualizing and designing intuitive, engaging, and aesthetically pleasing user interfaces and user experiences for our web and mobile applications. This is a remote contract role with flexible hours, requiring a strong portfolio and proven ability to deliver high-quality work independently.

Responsibilities

• Conceptualization & Strategy :
• Work closely with product managers and stakeholders to understand project goals, target audiences, and technical requirements.
• Conduct user research, create user personas, and define user journeys and information architecture (IA).
• Design & Execution :
• Develop wireframes, low-fidelity and high-fidelity prototypes, and interactive mock-ups to communicate design ideas effectively.
• Design clean, modern, and responsive user interfaces (UI) for web, iOS, and Android platforms, ensuring consistency with brand guidelines.
• Translate complex requirements into simple, elegant, and user-friendly designs.
• Create and maintain a comprehensive design system or component library for scalability and consistency.
• Testing & Iteration :
• Plan and execute usability testing to gather feedback and identify areas for improvement.
• Iterate on designs based on user feedback, data analytics, and business objectives.
• Collaboration :
• Present and clearly articulate design concepts and rationale to the team and stakeholders.
• Collaborate with front-end developers to ensure smooth implementation of the design.
