About the Role :
We are seeking an experienced and highly strategic Head of Operational Readiness for Marketing & Sales (M&S) to lead the successful implementation and launch of new products, services, campaigns, and initiatives within our M&S division.
This pivotal role ensures that all operational aspects - people, processes, and technology - are fully prepared and optimized before go-live, minimizing risks and maximizing business impact.
You will serve as the critical bridge between strategy, development, and execution, driving cross-functional alignment and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities :
- Strategic Planning & Process Design : Develop and implement a robust operational readiness framework and methodology for all M&S initiatives, ensuring scalability and efficiency.
- Cross-Functional Leadership : Lead and manage cross-functional teams (including Product, Marketing, Sales, IT, Customer Service, Legal, and Training) to identify operational impacts, define requirements, and ensure seamless transitions for new launches.
- Risk Management & Mitigation : Proactively identify potential operational risks, bottlenecks, and dependencies, developing and executing mitigation plans to ensure smooth deployment and minimize disruption.
- Stakeholder Management : Act as the primary point of contact for operational readiness, building strong relationships with senior leadership and key stakeholders to manage expectations and secure necessary resources.
- Operational Handoff : Define clear operational handoff criteria and ensure all necessary documentation, training, and support structures are in place for M&S teams post-launch.
- Performance Monitoring & Optimization : Establish metrics and KPIs to measure the effectiveness of operational readiness efforts, driving continuous improvement post-launch.
- Team Development : Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing team focused on operational readiness excellence, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous Master of Business Administration (MBA) from a premier institution is required.
- 12+ years of progressive experience in operations, program management, product launch, or a similar role, with at least 5 years in a leadership or managerial capacity, preferably within Marketing & Sales or related functions.
- Demonstrated experience in large-scale program management, change management, and process improvement methodologies (e., Lean, Six Sigma).
- Strong understanding of M&S processes, systems, and technologies (e., CRM, marketing automation platforms).
- Exceptional leadership, communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence at all levels.
