Key Responsibilities :
- Develop, implement, and optimize assembly processes to improve efficiency, quality, and safety.
- Collaborate with design and production teams to create assembly procedures and work instructions for new products.
- Analyze assembly operations to identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies, and implement corrective actions.
- Select and integrate appropriate assembly equipment and tools.
- Provide technical support to assembly teams and troubleshoot assembly issues as they arise.
- Monitor and ensure adherence to quality standards throughout the assembly process.
- Conduct root cause analysis of defects, collaborate with quality control teams, and implement corrective actions.
- Work with supply chain teams to ensure the timely availability of materials and components for assembly.
- Maintain accurate documentation of assembly processes, specifications, and technical drawings.
- Train assembly personnel on new processes, techniques, and safety protocols.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and promote a culture of continuous improvement.
- Assist in product design reviews to ensure that products are designed for efficient assembly.
Qualifications & Experience :
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field.3+ years of experience in assembly engineering or a related field, preferably in manufacturing or production environments.Familiarity with assembly techniques, process improvement, and Lean Manufacturing principles (e.g., 5S, Kaizen).Experience with CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and / or PLM systems is an advantage.Knowledge of automation and robotics in the assembly process is a plus.Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.Ability to work collaboratively across multiple teams, including engineering, production, and quality.Skills Required
