Role Overview :
As a Jira Administrator , you will be responsible for the end-to-end management, configuration, and optimization of the Atlassian tool suite, including Jira Data Center, Jira Cloud, Jira Service Management (JSM), Confluence, and Assets (Insight) . You will play a critical role in supporting enterprise-wide collaboration, IT service delivery, and asset management.

Key Responsibilities :
- Administer and configure Jira Data Center & Cloud, including DC-to-Cloud migration (Jira & Jira service Desk).
- Manage Jira Issue types, workflows, screens, permissions, custom fields, automation rules, notifications and screen schemes.
- Set up and support Jira Service Management (JSM) : service desks, SLAs, request types, and portals.
- Design and maintain Assets (Insight) schemas.
- Support Confluence spaces, templates, permissions, and plug-in management.
- Provide application support for Jira, Confluence, and JSM across IT and business teams.
- Gather and analyze business requirements to optimize Jira / Confluence configurations.
- Evaluate, test, and configure Jira / Confluence plug-ins.
- Automate tasks using REST APIs, webhooks, and ScriptRunner.
- Create Jira projects, filters, dashboards, and reports.
- Document workflows, configurations, and processes to support runbooks and training.
- Stay updated with the latest Jira features and best practices.
Required Skills & Qualifications :
Jira administration experience (DC & Cloud), including DC-to-Cloud migration (Jira & Jira service Desk)Expertise in Jira Software, Jira Service Management, Confluence, and Assets (Insight).Strong understanding of ITIL practices and service management workflows.Proficient in REST APIs, scripting (e.g., Groovy / ScriptRunner), and system integrations.Familiar with Agile (Scrum, Kanban), and SAFe methodologies.Ability to translate business needs into technical solutions and workflows.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent verbal and written communication; effective stakeholder engagement.Proactive, client-focused, and able to provide strategic guidance.Must Have skills :
