Position Summary & Objective
The Account Payable (AP) play a crucial role in managing and processing all incoming invoices and payments within the Company. This role ensures accurate and timely payments to vendors, reconciles accounts and maintains financial records. The account payable analyst works closely with other departments to resolve payment issues, manage vendor relationships and support the company’s financial operations.
Essential Functions Performed by the Position
- Review, Process and verify incoming invoices for accuracy, completeness and proper authorizations.
- Reconcile accounts payable transactions and resolve any discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate records of all accounts payable transactions and ensure proper documentation.
- Communicate with Vendors and departs to resolve payment issues and answer questions.
- Assist in month- end and year-end closing processes, including reconciling accounts.
- Ensure compliances with Company policies and procedures, as well as regulatory requirements.
- Maintain vendor records and account information securely.
- Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documents.
- Monitor the accounts payable aging report ensure timely payments.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements in the accounts payable functions.
- Conceives ideas for solutions and participates in the resolution of issues.
- Resolves conflict problems escalated by associates.

Position Qualifications
Education :
Bachelor's / master’s degree in accounting, finance and a related field.AAT qualified / foundation level of ACA / ACMA / ACCA / CIMA desired.Experience :
Minimum 3-5 years of proven experience as an accounts payable analyst or similar accounting role.Strong knowledge of accounts payable processes and financial regulations.Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems (e.G. MAS 500, ERP and SAP experience a plus).Experience using financial and in-house software to perform analysis and report generation. required to support management and decision-making activities.Good Communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with vendors and team members.Certifications / Licenses :
None.Language Proficiency :
Fluent in English.Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
A thorough understanding of bookkeeping, double-entry bookkeeping and payable ledger reconciliation is essential.The ability to analyze data, identify trends, forecast costs and perform account and payable reconciliation is vital.The Ability to research data, identify discrepancies and resolve payment issue independently.A critical skill for ensuring accuracy in all financial transactions.The capacity to prioritize tasks, manage a high volume of work, and meet strict deadlines in fast paced environment.Strong verbal and written communication skills are needed to interact effectively with vendors and internal departments.Must demonstrate the highest level of integrity, discretion, and confidentiality always.Excellent numeracy and literacy skills.Competent MS Excel user (vlookups, pivot tables)The ability to collaborate with team members and build strong professional relationship with vendors.Enthusiastic team player with positive attitudeFlexibility to accommodate an ever-changing working environment and demands placed upon it.Must be able to fit into a culture where teamwork, empowerment and dedication are of utmost importance.Working Hours and Conditions
