n8n Developer

Job Title : n8n Developer Location : Remote

Employment Type : Full-time

About the Role : We are looking for a skilled n8n Developer to design, build, and optimize automation workflows that connect APIs, databases, and third-party tools. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with n8n and strong knowledge of JavaScript, APIs, and automation logic . You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to automate processes, improve system efficiency, and create intelligent integrations across our tech stack.

Key Responsibilities : Design, develop, and deploy automation workflows using n8n .

Integrate multiple systems and APIs (REST, GraphQL, Webhooks, etc.).

Create custom n8n nodes and scripts using JavaScript / TypeScript .

Maintain and optimize existing automation pipelines for performance and reliability.

Collaborate with developers and product teams to identify automation opportunities.

Implement error handling, logging, and monitoring for workflows.

Manage n8n deployments on Docker, cloud, or self-hosted environments .

Document workflows and provide training / support to internal teams.

Required Skills & Experience : Proven experience with n8n (building and managing complex workflows).

Strong understanding of APIs , webhooks , and data formats (JSON, XML).

Experience with JavaScript / TypeScript for custom node or function development.

Familiarity with Docker , Git , and CI / CD tools.

Experience with one or more of : MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or Airtable .

Knowledge of cloud services (AWS, GCP, Azure) is a plus.

Good problem-solving and debugging skills.

Excellent communication and documentation abilities.

Nice to Have : Experience integrating n8n with CRM, ERP, or marketing automation tools .

Familiarity with Python, Node.js , or low-code automation platforms (e.g., Zapier, Make).

Understanding of API authentication (OAuth2, JWT, API Keys).
