Role Overview
The Chief Risk Officer (CRO) will be responsible for establishing and overseeing the Bank’s enterprise-wide risk management framework. This includes identifying, assessing, monitoring, and mitigating risks across credit, market, liquidity, operational, compliance, information security, and AML domains.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the overall risk management function across the Bank, ensuring effective implementation of risk frameworks.
- Oversee credit risk, market risk, Information security risk, liquidity & interest rate risk, operational risk, and compliance risk management.
- Ensure effective implementation of Basel guidelines and Internal Capital Adequacy Assessment Process.
- Supervise internal financial controls, information security risk assessments, and cybersecurity preparedness.
- Facilitate Board and Committee discussions on Risk Profile of the organization, level and direction of aggregate and major risk streams, risk appetite, capital adequacy, and emerging risks.
- Provide leadership in operational risk, business continuity planning, and anti-money laundering (AML / CFT) compliance.
Qualifications & Experience :
Graduate / Post Graduate in any discipline from a recognized institution.Minimum 25 years experience in banking with at least 10 years progressive experience in risk managementStrong leadership and strategic decision-making skills.Proven track record of working with regulatory authorities, auditors, and Board-level committees.Desirable Professional Qualifications :
Certification in FRM / Professional Risk
Age : Not exceeding 60 years (as on the date of application).
