Equity Research Analyst - Power Utilities

Equity Research Analyst - Power Utilities Conduct channel checks and gather on-ground insights related to companies operating in the Power Utilities sector.

• Convert qualitative findings into quantitative assumptions, update financial models and evaluate the impact on company margins, cash flows and valuations.
• Work closely with senior analysts to support new stock initiations and contribute to generating fresh investment ideas for institutional clients.
• Create, update and maintain detailed financial models, along with preparing supporting tables, charts and data visualizations.
• Build and manage sector-specific databases that form the foundation of research output.
• Demonstrate strong understanding of sector dynamics and apply sound business judgment in analysis.
• Collaborate with other analysts to identify and develop key sector themes and long-term industry trends.
• Establish and maintain relationships with company management teams and industry participants to facilitate continuous information flow.
• Participate in internal discussions, client interactions and investor meetings by contributing sector insights and analysis.
