Customer Service Executive - Network Operations & Support

Job Description :

The role is responsible for network operations and maintenance. This is an operational role that may seek appropriate level of guidance and advice to ensure delivery of quality outcomes. Responsibilities Engineering graduate with 2+ years' experience.

• . Experience in Telecom Network Operation Centre (NOC) supporting layer 1 and 2 operations.
• . Experience on DWDM, Carrier Ethernet Products from multiple vendors and knowledge of different EMS & NMS tools (Preferred- Ciena MCP / NPT / ECI / BMC tool).
• . Transmission Network Monitoring System standard troubleshooting activities that are performed at transmission nodes.
• . Knowledge on functionality of transmission media test equipment (Optical light meter, power meter, Optical Time Domain Reflectometer - OTDR).
• . Immediate fault isolation and resolution capability.
• . Alarm correlation and impact analysis, Root Cause Analysis and recommended action to resolve network issues.
• . Knowledge of performance and traffic analysis methodologies & tools.
• . Complete knowledge of architecture and functioning of the specific network elements.
• . Complete knowledge of overall network operations, network inventory and activity flows.
• . Knowledge of all relevant protocols handled by specific network elements.
• . Good understanding of the network elements to be monitored. Desired Skill sets Maintaining, administering, upgrading, and troubleshooting network tools and equipment.
