Day to Day Responsibilities:

• Routine analysis of raw materials and finished products by GC & ICP
• Review analytical data
• Perform out of specification investigations
• Data entry
• General laboratory housekeeping
• Maintaining consumable item stock levels

To be successful, we are looking for the following:

• 3 - 5 years experience in a similar role
• A formal qualification in chemistry or a related discipline
• Demonstrable experience in the use of data management software Agilent OpenLab CDS (2.6) software to run a sequence, launch data analysis, process/review data and proficiency in creating custom calculations in the custom calculator.
• Ideally, the successful candidate should have GMP/GLP experience and worked with the Agilent 7697a Headspace or similar, 8890/7890 GC or similar and 5977B single quadrupole MSD or similar.
• Strong attention to detail
• A clear understanding of chemical safety
• A clear understanding of good laboratory practices
• The ability to work both autonomously and in a team
• Excellent communication skills
• Effective time management skills
• A working knowledge of standard office applications such as MS Word and Excel
