Job description

Vopais is hiring skilled L2 Application Support Engineers to handle 247 operations for Databricks workloads. If you're passionate about Big Data technologies and thrive in a dynamic environment, we want to connect!

Location : Navi Mumbai (Ghansoli)

Budget : Upto 14 LPA

Position Type : Full-time, Rotational shifts : 2-5 years in Big Data / Cloud Data Platform Support

Education : B.E / B.Tech / MCA

Key Responsibilities :

24x7 monitoring of Databricks clusters, jobs, workflows & data pipelines (Streaming & Batch)
Alert monitoring, first level troubleshooting for cluster failures, job errors (PySpark / Scala / Spark SQL / Delta Live Tables)
Debugging Databricks notebooks & rerunning failed jobs per SOP
Daily health checks, incident & operational dashboard preparation
Escalate high-severity incidents as per SLA, and analyze logs for issue resolution
Handle workspace / user access (RBAC) and recurring issue reporting

Required Technical Skills :

Hands-on with Databricks platform (clusters, jobs, repos, MLflow, warehouse)

Solid experience in Big Data environments

Proficiency in UNIX, SQL, Shell Scripting

Spark UI & job debugging expertise

CI / CD pipelines (preferably Azure DevOps), Azure Cloud

Knowledge of Apache Spark, Delta Lake
