Freelance Java Atlassian Engineer

Looking for a Freelance Java Atlassian Engineer to join a team of rockstar developers. The candidate should have a minimum of 5+ yrs. of experience.

Company Background - We are a multinational software company that is growing at a fast pace. We have offices in Florida & New Delhi. Our clientele spreads across the US, Australia & APAC. To give you a sense of our growth rate, we've added 70+ employees in the last 6 weeks itself and expect another 125+ by the end of Q4 2025.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Atlassian Server / Data Center apps using Atlassian SDK and Plugin Framework.
• Implement new features, integrations, and enhancements for Jira / Confluence plugins.
• Develop frontend components using JavaScript, TypeScript, and jQuery.
• Work with build and deployment pipelines using Maven, Git / Bitbucket, and Bamboo.
• Build and consume REST APIs using JSON / XML.
• Ensure scalability, thread safety, and performance in clustered Data Center environments.
• Implement unit and automated tests using JUnit, Mockito, etc.
• Utilize logging and dependency injection frameworks (Log4j2, Spring).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for requirements, design, and release management.
• Troubleshoot production issues and optimize performance.
