Job descriptionAct as the primary design liaison between clients, consultants, contractors, and internal teams. Coordinate design deliverables with MEP, structural, AV / IT, acoustics, and lighting consultants. Ensure design solutions are practical, buildable, and aligned with project budgets and schedules. Oversee preparation of detailed working drawings, specifications, and tender documents. Review and approve shop drawings, material submittals, prototypes, and mock-ups. Ensure compliance with local building codes, accessibility norms, fire safety, and quality standards. Manage and mentor architects, interior designers, CAD / BIM technicians, and 3D visualisers. Allocate workloads, track progress, and provide constructive feedback to the design team. Conduct site inspections to ensure the built work matches the approved design intent. Resolve design-related challenges during construction in coordination with the project management team. Work with the costing and estimation team to ensure designs are aligned with budget constraints. Propose value engineering solutions without compromising aesthetics or functionality. Keep up-to-date with emerging materials, technology, and workplace trends. Promote sustainable design practices and selection of eco-friendly materials.

- Develop and implement design standards, guidelines, and templates for consistency across projects.
