About the Job
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced SSRS Report Developer to join our team and help design, develop and optimize reporting solutions using Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS).The ideal candidate will play a key role in developing, maintaining and enhancing SSRS reports with a strong expertise in SQL driving business intelligence initiatives with agility and precision.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop and maintain SSRS reports tailored to evolving business reporting needs.
- Write and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, functions and manipulate data from relational databases (MS SQL Server preferred).
- Perform thorough database performance tuning and rapid troubleshooting to meet urgent business demands.
- Ensure all reports are clear, actionable, and optimized for performance and scalability.
- Conduct unit testing and troubleshoot report errors, issues, or data discrepancies.
- Deploy, schedule, and manage report delivery within the SSRS environment, including permissions and subscriptions.
- Prepare technical and user documentation for deployed reports and dashboards.
- Provide support and training to end-users regarding report navigation and interpretation.
- Stay up to date with best practices in SSRS, SQL optimization, and business intelligence reporting.
Candidate Requirements
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related fields.Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience with SSRS(SQL Server Reporting Services ) for developing and managing business-critical reports.Minimum 5 years of proven experience with SQL having knowledge in writing complex queries, joins, stored procedures, indexing strategies and query optimization.Experience with report parameterization, drill-through, and visual elements in SSRS.Exposure to performance tuning and optimization techniques for large datasets.Solid understanding of relational database concepts (MS SQL Server preferred).Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.Strong problem-solving skills and a data-driven approach to decision-making.Strong attention to detail, superior organizational and time management skills.Demonstrated sense of curiosity and ability to ask the right questions.Growth mindset, a willingness to learn to improve and sharpen skill sets.Location : Remote
