Job descriptionContribute to design assets that strengthen brand identity and maintain a consistent design language across products. Ensure visual designs are engaging, clear, and aligned with brand guidelines. Create user flows, wireframes, and prototypes to define functionality and structure. Participate in usability testing and incorporate feedback to refine experiences. Partner with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to align on goals and iterate on designs. Actively participate in design critiques, team discussions, and cross-functional workshops. Present design ideas and concepts clearly to peers and stakeholders, balancing user needs with business requirements. Document design rationale to support decision-making and alignment. Apply and help evolve existing WECO design systems to ensure product consistency. Contribute new components and patterns under senior guidance. Follow accessibility (WCAG) and UX best practices to ensure inclusive experiences. Seek feedback and guidance on accessibility improvements. Stay current on design tools, trends, and methods to improve team output. Seek mentorship from senior designers and contribute ideas for process improvements. 2–6 years of experience in UX / UI design with a portfolio demonstrating strong user-centered design work. Proficiency with design and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD). Solid understanding of interaction design, information architecture, and visual design principles. Basic knowledge of front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus but not required. Strong collaboration and communication skills, with ability to explain design choices. Experience working in agile environments and managing multiple design tasks. A passion for improving user experiences and attention to detail in design execution.
