Position Overview

We’re seeking a motivated and tech-savvy Web Development Intern to join our remote team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about modern web development who wants to learn how AI is transforming the way we build software. You’ll work on real client projects, collaborating with our team to create responsive, high-quality websites and web applications using the latest technologies and AI-assisted development workflows.

Location : Remote

Duration : 3-6 months

Stipend : ₹10,000 per month

Key Responsibilities

Frontend Development

  • Design and develop responsive, mobile-first websites and web applications that look great across all devices and screen sizes
  • Build and customize Shopify storefronts using Liquid templating language, React, and modern frontend frameworks
  • Implement pixel-perfect designs with clean, maintainable HTML, CSS, and JavaScript code
  • Create dynamic, interactive user interfaces using React and TypeScript

AI-Assisted Development

  • Leverage AI tools like GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, and other code generation assistants to accelerate development workflows
  • Rapidly prototype and iterate on features using AI-powered coding tools
  • Learn to effectively prompt and collaborate with AI to write clean, efficient code

    • API Integration & Backend Connectivity

  • Integrate RESTful APIs and GraphQL endpoints into frontend applications
  • Connect Shopify stores with third-party services and custom backend systems
  • Handle data fetching, state management, and API authentication

    • Collaboration & Learning

  • Work closely with senior developers and designers to understand project requirements and deliver quality solutions
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving development practices
  • Troubleshoot bugs, optimize performance, and maintain existing web properties
  • Stay current with emerging web technologies, AI development tools, and industry best practices

    • Required Skills & Qualifications

    Technical Skills

  • Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and modern JavaScript (ES6+)
  • Experience with responsive design principles and mobile-first development
  • Familiarity with React or other modern JavaScript frameworks (Vue.js, Angular)
  • Understanding of REST APIs and how to integrate them into web applications
  • Basic knowledge of Shopify development including Liquid templating, theme customization, or Shopify app development
  • Experience using AI-powered development tools (GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, Cursor, or similar) for coding assistance
  • Version control with Git and GitHub

  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a remote team environment
  • Self-motivated with the ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines
  • Eagerness to learn new technologies and adapt quickly to changing requirements
  • Ability to take feedback constructively and iterate rapidly

    • Education

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Web Development, Software Engineering, or a related field

    • Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with TypeScript
  • Familiarity with CSS frameworks like Tailwind CSS or Bootstrap
  • Understanding of web performance optimization techniques
  • Portfolio or GitHub profile showcasing previous web development projects
  • Experience with Shopify theme development or app creation
  • Knowledge of web accessibility standards and best practices
