About the job

Orionversity — an initiative by  Orion Edutech Pvt. Ltd. , one of India’s largest skill development and employability companies — is expanding its  Work-Integrated Degree Programs (WIDP)  in partnership with leading universities across India.

We are looking for a  senior professional  to lead  student recruitment and university partnerships  at a national level. This person will work independently like a leader, driving growth through a combination of  university collaborations, B2B partner networks, and D2C mobilisation strategies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and manage  strategic partnerships with universities  to design and implement Work-Integrated Degree Programs (BBA, B.Voc, B.Sc, MBA, etc.) in sectors like Allied healthcare, IT, Future Skills, Retail, Hospitality & BFSI, aligned with NEP 2020.
  • Lead the  student recruitment and mobilisation strategy  through :
  • B2B channels & D2C channels
  • Establish and scale a  PAN-India admission partner network  to drive consistent enrolments.
  • Develop and execute  marketing and conversion plans  for partnered universities.
  • Co-ordinate with  university leadership  (VCs, Registrars, Deans)
  • Ensure  smooth coordination  between university, industry, and internal delivery teams.
  • Track and analyze  admissions data, conversion ratios, and ROI  across multiple channels.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 10–15 years of experience in  university admissions, higher education partnerships or student recruitment
  • Demonstrated ability to mobilize large student volumes  through both B2B and D2C channels.
  • Strong network of  education counsellors and admission partners  across India.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, capable of interacting directly with  Vice-Chancellors and senior university management.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset, high ownership, and comfort in a startup-like, fast-scaling environment.
  • Willingness to travel frequently across India ; hybrid work model.
