Position Summary :

Supervisor, Data Governance

As a Data Governance Business Analyst, you will play a critical role in supporting both global functions and market teams by addressing data-related issues and changes needed to enhance our global data products. You will act as a key connector between data stewards and business teams to ensure governance policies and standards are consistently implemented. This role also includes ownership of data quality checks and active collaboration with stakeholders to drive data improvements at scale.

Top 3 Responsibilities :

  • Issue Resolution & Data Product Support : Serve as the first line of support for market and functional data issues, identifying and coordinating needed changes to global data products.
  • Data Quality Execution : Conduct regular quality checks and collaborate with Data Stewards to drive remediation plans and improvements.
  • Policy & Standards Enablement : Work closely with business teams and stewards to embed governance policies and standards into day-to-day data operations.

Primary Responsibilities :

  • Execute and operationalize enterprise data governance policies, processes, and best practices.
  • Partner with global function and market data stewards to triage issues and escalate changes required in global data products.
  • Conduct routine data quality checks and prepare reports to inform governance metrics and KPIs.
  • Act as a liaison between technical teams and business users to communicate governance requirements.
  • Support the implementation of training, awareness, and change management activities to promote governance adoption.
  • Leverage governance tools and metadata repositories (e.g., Collibra) to manage business metadata and lineage.
  • Maintain awareness of data privacy and compliance regulations and support audits or reviews as needed.

    • Skills :

  • Bachelor's degree in information technology, Data Science, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in data governance, business analysis, or data management roles.
  • Familiarity with governance platforms (e.g., Collibra) and issue tracking tools. – dictionary & data stewardship
  • Proven ability to work with cross-functional stakeholders and resolve data issues.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
  • Understanding of data privacy, classification, and compliance requirements.
  • SQL statements, testing data, meeting the quality stds. SQL - intermediate
  • Familiarity with MDM platform
  • Tracking tools – JIRA / ServiceNow
  • Search and input data into the applications
  • GDPR / CCPA
  • Data profiling
