Product Designer / Design Engineering with Mechatronics Background

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Product Designer / Design Engineer with a Mechatronics background located in Bengaluru. The role involves daily tasks such as creating and optimizing product designs, coordinating with vendors and customers, and hands-on prototyping and testing. The Product Designer will collaborate with a small cross-functional team to develop and iterate on innovative solutions.

Qualifications

• Product Design and Mechatronics skills
• Hands-on ability to conceive and prototype electromechanical components, parts and systems
• Conduct basic engineering analysis of mechanical systems. Proficiency in CAD tools and design software
• Ability to plan, design and integrate electromechanical systems in products at different scales
• ⁠Ability to assemble and build mechatronic systems
• ⁠Comfortable working with various types of sensors, processors, and actuators
• Work independently in a start-up environment
• Ability to work with team members in an agile work environment with varying roles and responsibilities
• Engage with vendors, customers and third-party
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Industrial Design, or related field
• Experience in product development processes is a plus
• Ability to travel locally and run around is desirable
• Years of experience : 1-3
