Role Summary :
The Costco GDX Order Management team is seeking a talented individual to strategically define, guide, and champion the products that power our multi-billion-dollar eCommerce business.
This role will be instrumental in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, focusing heavily on defining the product strategy, roadmap, and backlog with an opportunity to make a tangible impact on millions of members globally within a rapidly expanding eCommerce landscape.
This role will be directly responsible for :
- Delivering innovative capabilities that enhance the member experience across various digital touchpoints.
- Driving product strategy and roadmap in partnership with business stakeholders and product management.
- Ensuring the longevity, scalability, and quality of our systems through continuous improvement, comprehensive documentation, and meticulous profiling.

Roles & Responsibilities :
Collaborates with Product Managers and technology stakeholders (Engineers, Architects) to strategically align the product backlog with the overall product vision and strategy.Strategically prioritizes product features, balancing technical debt, platform improvements, and architectural enablers with user-facing features.Defines and communicates the minimum viable product (MVP) based on business value and technical feasibility.Translates IT and business OKRs (Objectives and Key Results) into actionable sprint goals.Creates user stories with clear acceptance criteria and measurable delivery-readiness metrics.Leads and is accountable for the end-to-end delivery of the product backlog.Drives cross-team collaboration to align on dependencies and timelines.Leads and facilitates all scrum meetings, including planning, backlog grooming, reviews, and prioritization.Works with the Product Engineering team to facilitate estimation and execution.Ensures clarity and progress by providing answers, constructive feedback, and clear direction on user stories.Oversees the execution of business demos and user acceptance testing activities, with support from business and technology team members.Proficient in Agile development processes.Serves as the single point of contact for stakeholders regarding product capabilities.Maintains regular and reliable workplace attendance at the assigned location.Experience Required :
Minimum Qualifications :
12+ years of experience10+ years of experience as a technical Product Owner, preferably in a retail environment5+ years of experience working with eCommerce systems10+ years of experience with Agile methodologies, frameworks, and tools (e.g., Scrum, Kanban, ADO, JIRA)10+ years of experience delivering projects involving multiple teams, departments, and business stakeholdersDeep technical expertise in microservices, APIs, databases, and cloud platformsStrong analytical skills to resolve issues and determine effective business and alternative IT solutionsStrong leadership and interpersonal communication skills, effectively conveying product vision, issues, risks, and dependencies, and influencing a wide range of stakeholders across the organizationProficient in user story creation and defining success criteriaExpertise in utilizing standard documentation tools / utilitiesStrong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skillsStrong work ethic, attention to detail, excellent time management, and organizational skillsPreferred Qualifications :
Knowledge and experience with Order Management SystemsKnowledge of SOX, PII, PCI, CCPA, HIPAA regulations for transactions, security, and confidentialityProven experience in defining and managing OKRs to drive strategic outcomesMust Have Skills : Order Management Systems, SOX / PII / PCI / CCPA / HIPAA compliance, OKR management.
