Job description

We are seeking a skilled and motivated IoT Project Developer to support the development of smart embedded systems and cloud-connected solutions. This is a part-time freelance opportunity ideal for professionals who enjoy working independently on cutting-edge IoT projects.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and program embedded systems using ESP32
Implement MQTT-based communication between devices and cloud services
Design and integrate RESTful APIs for data exchange and control
Set up and manage AWS IoT infrastructure (IoT Core, Lambda, DynamoDB, etc.)
Collaborate on hardware prototyping and software integration
Conduct testing, debugging, and documentation of developed components
Work closely with project leads

Your Profile

Proven experience with ESP32 development

Strong knowledge of MQTT , API design , and AWS cloud services

Familiarity with hardware-related programming and IoT architectures

Independent, structured, and solution-oriented working style

Experience with agile development methods is a plus

Fluent in English or German
