Senior Data Engineer

Job Description

Overall having experience between 6 to 10 years of experience in IT and minimum 3+ years’ experience in cloud.

Hands on in Architecture, Design, Delivery of all aspects of Data Engineering area.

Hands on experience in implementing data engineering projects.

Strong understanding of Azure environment (PaaS, IaaS) and experience in working with Hybrid model

Strong knowledge in Azure Data Bricks / Pyspark / Azure Data factory.

Strong knowledge and experience on SQL Statements and Queries

Experience in delivering complex ETL projects.

Extensive database experience with a good knowledge of Business Intelligence, Data Warehousing Concepts.

Hands-on coding experience in various Azure Services

Should have knowledge of Store Procedures, Functions, queries, Locks, Tables, Database creation, Roles.

Strong working experience in ingesting data from various data sources and data types

Should have development, testing and deployment knowledge, best practices and coding standards.

Should have strong knowledge on version control and estimation techniques

Should have strong knowledge Data Warehouse, SQL, Data Modelling
