Key Responsibilities

Data Analysis and Documentation

  • Analyze data requirements for master and reference data domains.
  • Document data lineage and create mappings for data flow across systems.
  • Write user stories related to data accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
  • Conduct data quality assessments, cleansing, and validation activities.

Business Process Analysis

  • Understand how reference and master data are utilized in business processes.
  • Identify process gaps and areas of improvement based on data use cases.

    • System Integration

  • Collaborate with technical teams to document data streams and integrations.
  • Ensure data consistency across multiple applications and systems.

    • Communication and Collaboration

  • Communicate data requirements and solutions effectively to both business and technical stakeholders.
  • Act as the liaison between data product owners, developers, and business teams.

    • Training and Support

  • Provide user training on reference and master data systems and best practices.
  • Support onboarding of users and promote platform adoption.

    • Alignment with Business Objectives

  • Engage with stakeholders to gather data needs and enable data usage through MDM / ref platforms.
  • Promote visibility of MDM / ref data platform availability and milestones across organizational forums.

    • Basic Qualifications

  • Master's degree with 7–10 years of Information Systems experience
  • OR Bachelor's degree with 8–10 years of Information Systems experience
  • OR Diploma with 10–12 years of Information Systems experience
  • 5–7 years of experience as a product analyst specifically for MDM / ref data

    • Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with MDM and RDM tools and technologies
  • Experience working closely with technical teams for MDM / ref data
  • Hands-on experience writing user stories for data-focused initiatives
  • Background in services or consulting related to data / AI products
  • Exposure to biotech or pharmaceutical domains
  • Ability to collaborate across matrixed and global teams
  • Passion for technology and customer success
