Job description

Job Title : R&D Lead

Location : Bangalore

Experience : 5+ years

Qualification : PhD in Life Sciences (Cell Biology / Molecular Biology / related discipline)

Key Responsibilities :

  • Lead and manage R&D programs from design to delivery across multiple scientific domains.
  • Oversee day-to-day lab operations and mentor scientific teams.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including global clients and academic partners.
  • Ensure project timelines, quality standards, and regulatory requirements are met.
  • Translate scientific vision into executable research plans.
  • Drive innovation and continuous improvement across programs.

Required Qualifications & Experience :

  • PhD in Life Sciences (Cell Biology, Molecular Biology, Biotechnology, or related fields).
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant research / program management experience.
  • Experience working in CRO, biotech, or life sciences R&D environments.
  • Proven track record of managing scientific teams and projects.
  • Exposure to client-facing roles or international collaborations preferred.
  • Clinical PhD or experience with translational / clinical research is an advantage
