Job Profile Summary :
The Workday HCM Lead is accountable for the implementation and operation of the company's HRIS Workday Human Capital Management (HCM).
This position works closely with business leaders across the company to understand business requirements, provide strategic vision, and help align priorities.
It also collaborates with IT to ensure the Workday HCM application integrates effectively within the company's technical infrastructure and digital strategy, while maintaining robust cybersecurity processes and tools to protect the overall computing environment and critical data.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
- Own and manage core Workday HCM functional areas including Core HCM, Compensation, Advanced Compensation, Talent, Absence, and Recruiting.
- Serve as the primary HRIS partner, providing consultative support to HR Business Partners and HR Centers of Excellence (COEs) through domain expertise and effective solution design.
- Analyze and translate business requirements into scalable and effective technical solutions aligned with organizational needs.
- Lead solution assessment and validation to ensure that functional and technical specifications meet identified business objectives.
- Drive deployment and maintenance of Workday feature releases, enhancements, and configuration updates to ensure alignment with business goals.
- Configure and maintain Workday Business Process Definitions, security roles, and related setup components.
- Provide user support and troubleshooting, resolving Workday-related issues and ensuring optimal system performance and user experience.
Supervisory Responsibilities :
Lead the Workday Team : Oversee daily operations and ensure staff remain on target with planned projects, tasks, and support needs.Plan and Allocate Work : Develop team schedules, assign responsibilities, and manage workloads effectively.Estimate and Manage Deliverables : Assess work effort, resources, and timelines based on requirements, priorities, and team capacity.Monitor Progress : Create work schedules, assign tasks, and manage workloads to meet organizational objectives.Communication : Act as liaison between management and team members, ensuring clear and consistent information flow across all stakeholders.Qualifications :
Workday Pro Certification in one or more of the following modules preferred : HCM Core, Compensation, Advanced Compensation, Recruiting, or Talent & Performance.Strong understanding of HR operations and employee data management.Ability to prioritize workload, follow up efficiently, and ensure timely resolution.Experience developing custom reports and building EIBs (Enterprise Interface Builders).Proficiency in creating Condition Rules and Calculated Fields to meet business needs.Strong communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex topics for diverse audiences.Capability to align technology initiatives with business priorities.High level of integrity, discretion, and confidentiality.Education and Experience :
Bachelor's degree in a related field required.Master's degree is advantageous.Experience in the freight forwarding industry is beneficial.Other Skills :
Basic understanding of the Freight Forwarding Industry.Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate messages to various audiences.Familiarity with applications such as CargoWise One.(ref : hirist.tech)
