Role Description

The Assistant Manager – Collective Operations plays a pivotal role in ensuring smooth day-to-day functioning while supporting regenerative interventions, enhancing community well-being, and contributing to outcomes across our 4-Returns framework — Financial, Natural, Social, and Inspiration. This is more than an operational role; it is a stewardship of people, land, and processes that reflects our values and vision.

This role is central to anchoring day-to-day operations at the collective level, ensuring smooth execution of plans, effective coordination of resources, and adherence to Beforest's sustainability ethos. It involves supporting ecological interventions such as soil regeneration, water conservation, biodiversity enhancement, and sustainable farming practices. All operational decisions — from sourcing inputs to managing labor — must be sensitive to ecological outcomes, aligned with community well-being, and evaluated for impact across the 4-Returns.

Key Responsibilities

Operational Oversight & Execution

• Implement operational plans as directed by the Collective Manager.
• Oversee daily collective activities and ensure adherence to ecological and operational standards.
• Provide timely reports and highlight risks or delays in execution.
• Ensure operational decisions contribute positively across all 4-Returns.
