Job Title : Power Electronics Engineer High-Frequency & High-Power Systems

Job Summary :
We are seeking a Power Electronics Engineer to design and develop high-frequency, high-voltage power supplies and high-capacity power sources (a few kW to hundreds of kW) for thermal and non-thermal plasma applications. The engineer will work on efficient, intelligent, and high-performance power conversion systems, ensuring stability and reliability.
Key Responsibilities :
- Design and develop
- high-frequency switching power supplies
- for plasma systems.
- Develop
- high-voltage power converters, inverters, and rectifiers
- (IGBT, MOSFET, and SiC-based).
- Work on
- resonant power converters, soft-switching techniques, and pulse power sources
- Optimize
- power factor correction (PFC), efficiency, and thermal management
- Design
- high-current, high-voltage DC and RF power supplies (10kW 500kW, up to 10kV+).
- Implement
- intelligent control algorithms
- (digital control, microcontrollers, DSP, FPGA).
- Develop
- feedback and protection circuits
- to ensure safe plasma operation.
- Collaborate with
- plasma scientists, thermal engineers, and system integrators
- Conduct
- EMI / EMC analysis and compliance testing
- for industrial plasma power sources.
Qualifications & Experience :
B.E. / B.Tech / M.E. / M.Tech in Power Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or related field3+ years of experiencein designinghigh-frequency high-voltage power systemsProficiency inpower electronics circuit design, PCB layout, and simulation tools(LTSpice, PLECS, MATLAB, ANSYS, etc.).Experience withIGBT, MOSFET, SiC, and GaN-based power electronicsHands-on experience withhigh-voltage insulation techniques and safety measuresStrong knowledge ofresonant power supplies, pulse modulation, and inverter topologiesFamiliarity withthermal management strategies (liquid cooling, heat sinks, etc.)Experience inPLC, DSP, FPGA, and microcontroller-based power system controlPreferred Skills :
Experience inRF and microwave power systems for plasmaKnowledge ofgrid integration of high-power sourcesHands-on experience inindustrial-scale plasma processing applicationsCompensation :
