Mendix Lead Developer

Job description5+ years of experience with Mendix, including 2+ years in a lead or architect role. Certified Mendix Advanced Developer (Expert certification is a big plus). Strong knowledge of software design principles, integration (REST / SOAP), and database systems (SQL, NoSQL). Experience with Mendix ATS, Mendix Data Hub, and Mendix Workflow is preferred. Experience with Agile / Scrum methodologies. Strong leadership, communication, and mentoring skills. Experience integrating Mendix with SAP, Salesforce, or legacy systems. Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP). Knowledge of Mendix Test Automation Tools like MTA. Experience with UI / UX design principles in low-code environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Design scalable, secure, and maintainable Mendix solutions aligned with enterprise architecture.
- Define reusable components, modules, and templates to accelerate development.
- Set and enforce Mendix architecture and design patterns, best practices, and coding standards. Development Leadership :
- Lead and mentor a team of Mendix developers throughout the SDLC.
- Oversee technical implementation, code reviews, and deployment processes.
- Drive continuous improvement and innovation in Mendix application delivery. Stakeholder Management :
- Work closely with product owners and stakeholders to gather requirements and define application roadmaps.
- Translate business needs into technical specifications and design documents. Platform Governance DevOps :
- Experience with CI / CD pipelines, version control, and DevOps practices for Mendix applications.
- Establish performance monitoring and application health metrics.
