Key Responsibilities :
- Develop and implement the companys operational strategy, in alignment with the overall business goals and objectives.
- Lead and manage all operational functions, including production, supply chain, logistics, and quality control.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and optimization across all departments.
- Streamline workflows and systems to enhance productivity and efficiency.
- Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to track and evaluate operational performance.
- Monitor and analyze data to make informed decisions and drive improvements.
- Efficiently allocate and manage resources, including budgets, personnel, and equipment, to support business objectives.
- Ensure resource availability and utilization meet demand requirements.
- Collaborate with other executive leaders, including the CEO, CFO, and CMO, to drive the companys overall strategy and growth.
- Foster a culture of collaboration and accountability across departments.
- Implement quality control measures and ensure adherence to industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Identify and mitigate operational risks.
- Recruit, develop, and retain a high-performing operations team.
- Provide mentorship and leadership to team members.
- Identify opportunities for expansion, market penetration, and diversification.
- Develop and execute growth strategies in alignment with the companys vision.
- Lead change management initiatives and drive organizational agility.
- Ensure smooth transitions during periods of change or growth.
- Provide regular reports to the CEO and executive team on operational performance, achievements, and challenges.
- Communicate operational strategies and priorities to stakeholders.
Qualifications and Skills :
Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field (Masters degree or MBA is preferred).Proven experience as a COO or in a senior operational leadership role, with a track record of improving operational efficiency and driving growth.Strong understanding of operational processes, supply chain management, and quality control.Exceptional leadership and team-building skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.Analytical and strategic thinking, with a focus on problem-solving and decision-making.Effective communication and interpersonal abilities, with the capacity to engage with stakeholders at all levels.Financial acumen and budget management experience.Change management and project management skills.Knowledge of industry best practices and regulatory requirements.Skills Required
