Product Manager-Personal Lines Underwriting

Job descriptionFiling of products with IRDAI for all lines of business including Motor and Personal Lines, Health, and Commercial. Liaising with different departments such as Actuarial, Underwriting, and Compliance for preparation of product documentation. Tracking products launched by competitors and conducting market benchmarking. Preparation of regulatory MIS. Coordinating PMC meetings and tracking PMC observations. Managing Underwriting (UW) Audits. Good communication and presentation skills, capable of engaging with significant peers and superiors. Knowledge of General Insurance products. Knowledge of Product Filing procedures and regulations is preferred. Minimum qualification : Post Graduate (specialization in Insurance preferred).
Experience
- 2-4 years of experience in General Insurance Industry Underwriting.
- Product Filing team experience in Life or General Insurance Industry preferred.
