Company Description
Inkers Technology, headquartered in Bengaluru with offices in the USA and UAE, is at the forefront of designing and developing deep, large-scale AI and ML solutions for the construction industry. We specialize in transforming real-world environments into highly accurate 3D point clouds using advanced scanning sensors, including our proprietary Lithic (LiDAR Thermal IMU Camera) technology, and state-of-the-art algorithms.
Our flagship AI-powered construction management solution, Observance, leverages computer vision, deep neural networks, cloud-based processing, and precision scanning to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and decision-making in construction processes. By bridging the gap between tangible reality and the intricate world of design, we are committed to pushing the boundaries of technology and delivering transformative solutions across diverse sectors.
Role Overview
We are looking for a Senior HVAC BIM Engineer who can deliver highly detailed, coordination-ready mechanical system models for complex, large-scale buildings — from design development (LOD 300) to fabrication (LOD 400) and as-built (LOD 500). You will be the discipline owner responsible for the spatial accuracy, constructability, and coordination of all HVAC systems within federated BIM workflows.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop fully parametric HVAC system models in Revit including supply / return / exhaust duct networks, chilled water and condenser water piping, VAV / FCU layouts, AHU / FAHU placement, and all mechanical equipment with correct flow, pressure, and capacity parameters .
- Integrate design intent drawings into coordinated BIM models and validate against ASHRAE , NBC , and project-specific standards.
- Conduct clash detection and lead resolution with architectural, structural, and other MEP disciplines using Navisworks Manage .
- Accurately place and model access panels, supports, dampers, valves, instrumentation , and all critical fittings, maintaining correct connectivity and flow direction.
- Generate shop drawings with tagging, annotation, and fabrication-ready details — including sectional views, installation clearances, and equipment schedules.
- Produce model-based quantity take-offs and support BOQ generation for ductwork, piping, insulation, and equipment.
- Validate mechanical system routing for velocity, pressure drop, and space allocation , ensuring constructability and ease of maintenance.
- Integrate field changes, RFIs, and redlines into as-built LOD 500 models and ensure metadata accuracy for commissioning and FM handover.
- Collaborate closely with BIM coordinators and CDE teams to align models with BEP protocols, shared coordinates , and ISO 19650 workflows.
What we're looking for
5+ years of hands-on BIM experience in HVAC systems for at least one large-scale project ( hospital, mixed-use development, luxury hotel, commercial tower, or residential complex ) in India or the UAE .Mastery of Revit MEP , Navisworks Manage , and strong working knowledge of Autodesk Civil 3D for site-level mechanical integration (e.g., chilled water routing, external plant connections).Strong understanding of HVAC system components , airflow principles, equipment sizing basics, and installation sequencing.Proven track record producing LOD 300–500 deliverables including GFC sets, fabrication / shop drawings, and as-built documentation.Experience with BEP / ISO 19650 workflows, naming conventions, and structured data delivery.Ability to interface confidently with design consultants, site teams, and contractors during coordination meetings.Work Location : Bangalore (On-site)
Salary : No bar for the right candidate
