Techolution - Cloud Operations Manager - Cloud Infrastructure

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Cloud Operations Manager to oversee and ensure the smooth delivery of cloud managed services projects.

This role focuses on operations and governance, fostering strong client relationships and ensuring seamless execution of technical deliverables.

The ideal candidate will be a skilled communicator and leader, capable of managing complex projects, coordinating with clients and technical teams, and driving successful project outcomes.

Duration : Full Time.

Location : Remote Work.

Work Timings : 4 : 00 PM to 1 : 00 AM IST.

Responsibilities :

• Manage end-to-end operations for cloud-managed services projects, ensuring timely delivery, adherence to client expectations, and optimal project outcomes.
• Develop and implement robust governance frameworks for efficient project execution and adherence to cloud best practices.
• Monitor KPIs and SLAs to maintain operational excellence and continuously improve service quality.
• Act as the primary point of contact for clients, building and maintaining strong relationships, conducting regular status meetings, and managing expectations effectively.
• Collaborate with technical teams to ensure seamless execution of project deliverables and resolve bottlenecks or risks promptly.
• Provide hands-on technical troubleshooting for cloud environments, addressing issues related to architecture, performance, and scalability to minimize downtime.
• Ensure adherence to cloud governance, security, and compliance standards, incorporating automation to streamline processes.
• Oversee cloud infrastructure setup, configuration, and maintenance using tools like Terraform to ensure scalability, automation, and efficiency.
• Design and implement CI / CD pipelines to improve deployment and delivery processes, ensuring smooth integration and operational flow.
• Identify areas for operational improvement, driving initiatives to enhance automation, scalability, and project outcomes.
• Assess and mitigate potential risks, troubleshooting and resolving technical challenges effectively.
• Coordinate between cross-functional teams, including operations, engineering, and support, to maintain alignment and seamless project delivery.
• Maintain proper documentation of processes, decisions, and project updates to ensure transparency and knowledge sharing.
• Provide regular project status reports to clients and senior leadership, highlighting achievements, risks, and :
• Strong technical expertise in cloud platforms such as GCP, Azure, and AWS, including cloud architecture, security, automation, and scalability.
• Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, and proficiency in designing, deploying, and managing cloud infrastructure.
• Proven experience in setting up and managing CI / CD pipelines for automated deployment and delivery.
• In-depth knowledge of cloud governance, compliance, and security standards, with a focus on automation for efficiency and reliability.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to resolve complex technical issues in a timely manner.
• Strong communication skills, capable of explaining technical issues to non-technical stakeholders clearly and concisely.
• Proven experience managing cloud projects and ensuring timely delivery of all project deliverables.
• Relevant certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Administrator, or Google Cloud Professional are highly desirable.
• Ability to identify opportunities for automation and operational improvements, driving initiatives to enhance efficiency and scalability.
