This is regarding opening with Pvt Bank as an AVP / VP Compliance

Designation : AVP / VP Compliance

Experience : 10+ years of work experience in Public sector bank in compliance department

NOTE : looking for candidate from PSU Bank only

Location : Mumbai

Job Role :

Policy and Procedure Development

  • Design, implement, and regularly update compliance policies, procedures, and internal control systems to ensure adherence to applicable laws and regulations.

2. Risk Management

  • Conduct periodic compliance risk assessments to identify potential areas of vulnerability.
  • Develop and implement strategies and corrective action plans to mitigate identified risks.

    • 3. Monitoring and Auditing

  • Oversee daily operations to ensure ongoing compliance with internal and external standards.
  • Perform periodic audits and reviews of business processes, documentation, and systems.
  • Maintain accurate compliance records and ensure timely reporting of findings.

    • 4. Staff Training and Awareness

  • Develop, coordinate, and deliver compliance and ethics training programs for employees at all levels.
  • Promote a culture of compliance and ethical conduct across the organization.

    • 5. Reporting

  • Prepare, maintain, and submit required compliance reports and disclosures to regulatory authorities and senior management.

    • 6. Investigations

  • Initiate and conduct investigations into potential or actual violations of company policies or regulatory requirements.
  • Recommend disciplinary or corrective actions based on investigation outcomes.

    • 7. Liaison and Coordination

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for senior management, external auditors, and regulatory agencies.
  • Facilitate effective communication between compliance, legal, audit, and business teams.

    • 8. Regulatory Awareness and Continuous Improvement

  • Stay abreast of evolving laws, regulations, and best practices in compliance and corporate governance.
  • Continuously update internal policies and training materials to reflect new developments.
