About the Role As an Integration Engineer , you’ll design, build, and maintain integrations between Brightedge’s platform and leading Saa S systems. You’ll work closely with Product, Engineering, and Customer Success teams to deliver high-quality, secure, and scalable integrations that power our global customer base. You’ll be responsible for the full integration lifecycle — from design and development to testing, deployment, and production support.
Key Responsibilities Design, build, and maintain API-based integrations between Brightedge and Saa S platforms such as Salesforce, Hub Spot, Zendesk, Net Suite, Shopify, and others. Develop, test, and document REST / Graph QL APIs, webhooks, and data pipelines.
Work with i Paa S platforms (Mulesoft, Workato, Tray.io, Boomi, or Celigo) and custom-built connectors to deliver reliable integrations. Implement authentication and authorization flows (OAuth2, JWT, API keys, etc.) and ensure data security in transit and at rest. Own the end-to-end integration lifecycle — from requirements, architecture, and development to deployment and post-release monitoring. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, QA, Customer Success) to define and maintain integration SLAs, logging, and monitoring standards. Troubleshoot and resolve complex integration and API issues across environments.
Contribute to internal integration playbooks , runbooks, and best practices documentation.
Required Qualifications 3–6 years of hands-on experience as an Integration Engineer, API Developer, or similar role in a Saa S or product company . Strong expertise in building and consuming RESTful APIs and experience with Open API / Swagger . Proven experience with Saa S integrations (Salesforce, Hub Spot, Net Suite, Zendesk, Shopify, etc.). Proficiency with one or more scripting / programming languages (Python, Node.js, or Java preferred). Strong understanding of API security standards (OAuth2, JWT, SSL, rate limiting). Experience with i Paa S / middleware tools like Workato, Boomi, Tray.io, or Mulesoft . Familiarity with asynchronous integration patterns (Kafka, Rabbit MQ, AWS SQS, or Webhooks). Hands-on experience with CI / CD pipelines , Git, and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes). Understanding of monitoring and observability tools (Grafana, Prometheus, ELK, or similar). Excellent debugging and problem-solving skills with the ability to own production incidents end-to-end.
Nice-to-Have Skills Experience with Graph QL APIs or API Gateway platforms (Apigee, Kong, AWS API Gateway). Background in data mapping, ETL workflows , or integration architecture design . Experience contributing to API documentation, SDKs , or developer portals . Exposure to event-driven or microservices architectures .
Work Requirements This is a remote role based in India . Mandatory : Must be available to work in US EST / PST business hours for collaboration with global teams. Excellent verbal and written communication skills to work with US-based stakeholders.
