Job Overview :
The Sr. Manager – Operations & Sales, Europe, will be directly accountable for scaling student recruitment by educating, engaging, and encouraging channel partners to drive high-volume applications and recruitment growth for European universities. The primary responsibility of this role will be to execute in-person engagement strategies that strengthen channel partner relationships and maximise their student recruitment performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed regional enrolment and conversion targets.
- Analyse market trends, partner performance, and competitor activity to identify new growth opportunities.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to introduce high-demand universities and programs aligned with market potential.
- Conduct frequent meetings, trainings, and performance reviews with partner agencies to identify opportunities, resolve bottlenecks, and drive consistent application generation.
- Ensure that channel partners have the resources, information, and motivation to prioritise European university admissions.
- Launch and manage incentive and recognition programs to boost partner performance and loyalty.
- Establish robust feedback and escalation channels to quickly resolve partner challenges and maintain smooth operations.
- Lead and oversee the complete application processing lifecycle from channel partners, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely updates.
- Analyse and report on partner-driven sales funnel metrics—enquiries, applications, offers, deposits, and enrolments—delivering actionable recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Implement robust monitoring systems to analyse offer-to-deposit and deposit-to-enrolment ratios, identifying key improvement areas.
- Present comprehensive Monthly Business Reviews (MBR) and MIS reports to the BU Head and Leadership Team, highlighting key insights and actionable plans.
- Collaborate with internal teams to provide channel partners with the latest offerings and updates related to European higher education.
- Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the assigned region or product vertical, providing guidance and process training to internal teams.
- Lead, mentor, and motivate a high-performing team across multiple locations.
- Define KRAs and performance metrics aligned with organizational objectives.
- Drive performance reviews, identify training needs, and ensure continuous capability building.
- Oversee onboarding and development of new hires, ensuring alignment with organizational culture and goals.
- Foster a culture of ownership, collaboration, and innovation within the team.
- Ensure high-quality output through streamlined processes, audit checks, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Drive efficiency in turnaround time, quality of documentation, and communication across stakeholders.
- Identify, address and resolve process bottlenecks to minimize revenue leakage and improve operational performance.
- Review team processes periodically to identify automation or optimization opportunities and ensure effective implementation.
- 12+ years of experience in Operations and Sales, preferably in the education, edtech, or services industry.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in team management and stakeholder engagement.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills relevant for agency partners and external stakeholders.
- Graduate in any discipline; MBA or equivalent qualification preferred.
- Strong business acumen with analytical and strategic thinking.
- High proficiency in reporting, data analysis, and performance management systems.
