Job Title : Event Coordinator – DACA Department

Department : Department of Animation, Creative Arts, and Design (DACA)

Location : Chandigarh University, Gharuan, Mohali, Punjab

Position Overview :

The Event Coordinator for the DACA Department will be responsible for planning, organizing, and executing departmental events such as exhibitions, workshops, festivals, competitions, guest lectures, and cultural showcases. The role requires creativity, strong organizational skills, and coordination with faculty, students, and external collaborators to ensure smooth execution and impactful event experiences that align with the department's academic and creative goals.

Key Responsibilities :

1. Event Planning and Coordination

• Plan, schedule, and manage events such as art exhibitions, film screenings, design showcases, student festivals, and academic conferences.
• Coordinate logistics including venue setup, technical requirements, permissions, and hospitality arrangements.
• Develop detailed event plans, timelines, and checklists to ensure seamless execution.
