Job description
  • This role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills to drive profitability, optimize operations, and expand market presence.
  • Responsible for leading and managing the sales team to achieve company sales targets and objectives.
  • The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the almond industry, knowledge of dry nuts including procurement, sales, market trends, and financial management.
  • Duties and responsibilities

    • Business Strategy & P&L Management :  Develop and execute strategies to achieve profitability, optimize revenue streams, and manage costs effectively.
    • Sales Forecasting :  Develop and manage sales forecasts and budgets, and analyze sales performance data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
    • Client Relationship Management :  Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders, and oversee the management of key accounts.
    • Market Analysis :  Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and pricing dynamics to stay ahead in the market.
    • Reporting :  Prepare and present regular sales reports, including performance metrics, sales forecasts, and market insights, to senior management.
    • Training and Development :  Provide training and support to sales team members, ensuring they have the necessary skills and resources to succeed.
    • Sales & Market Expansion :  Identify growth opportunities, expand distribution channels, and build strong relationships with key stakeholders.
    • Procurement & Supply Chain :  Oversee sourcing strategies, maintain quality standards, and ensure a seamless supply chain.
    • Operational Excellence :  Streamline processes, enhance efficiency, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business success.
    • Stakeholder Management :  Engage with clients, suppliers, and internal teams to foster strong partnerships and ensure business alignment.
    • Compliance & Risk Management :  Ensure adherence to regulatory guidelines, mitigate risks, and maintain high ethical standar
    • Qualifications

      Qualifications include :

    • Experience :  Minimum of 10 years of experience in sales management, with a proven track record of achieving sales targets and managing successful sales teams.
    • Education :  Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. An MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
    • Skills :  Strong analytical, negotiation, leadership skills, Excellent communication and decision-making abilities.
    • Technical Proficiency :  Proficiency with excel, sap software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
    • Personal Attributes :  Results-oriented, self-motivated, and able to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Working conditions

      This is an office-based role with occasional meetings with clients and factory visits as required.
