Job Title : Service Procurement

Responsibilities :

Procurement Operations :

  • Manage end-to-end procurement of spare parts and bought-out items for wind turbine service operations.
  • Handle both domestic and international sourcing, including import documentation, customs clearance, and vendor coordination.

Vendor Management :

  • Identify, evaluate, and onboard vendors for Gamesa WTG spare parts and services.
  • Maintain strong relationships with suppliers across India to ensure timely delivery and competitive pricing.
  • Negotiate contracts, SLAs, and payment terms with vendors.
  • Inventory & Logistics Coordination :

  • Collaborate with warehouse and logistics teams to ensure optimal inventory levels and efficient distribution.
  • Monitor lead times, stock availability, and reorder points for critical components.
  • Compliance & Documentation :

  • Ensure procurement activities comply with internal policies and statutory regulations (GST, import duties, etc.).
  • Maintain accurate records of purchase orders, invoices, and vendor performance.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration :

  • Work closely with service, engineering, and finance teams to align procurement with operational needs.
  • Support technical evaluations and quality checks of incoming parts.
  • Requirements :

  • 4–8 years of experience in procurement, preferably in the wind energy sector.
  • Familiarity with Gamesa WTG models, spare parts catalogs, and service requirements.
  • Strong knowledge of Pan India vendor landscape for wind turbine components.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.) and MS Office.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
