Key Accountabilities and main responsibilities
Strategic Focus
- Designing, coding, and unit testing business code in the new architecture.
- Migrating existing functionality from the existing codebase to the new architecture.
- (CTL is a bespoke in-house business-oriented development language. Training will be provided to the successful individual in this role)
Operational Management
Documenting all development tasks, diagrams, and other artifacts.Timely completion of activities, adhering to existing process and quality standards.Participate in team discussions, providing early escalation of issues and input into the change management process.Responsibility to develop quick to market, high quality IT solutions within an agile environment.Engage proactively with stakeholders and other cross-functional team members in the development of IT solutions.People Leadership
Work within a team of developers assisting in :Timely completion of task assigned.Effective technology usage for problem solving.Introduce Innovation to solve business challenges.Lead and motivate the team to deliver quality.Interact with global teams / stakeholders.Governance & Risk

Experience
Background in Information Technology, with exposure to mainstream development language including modern development methodologies, patterns, and practices.Strong Programming skills / familiarity with C# with 7+ years of programming experiencePrevious exposure to Visual BASIC, VBA, VBScript, VB.net would be advantageous.Strong SQL, debugging skills, low level database skills.Exposure to Development Methodologies - Waterfall, Agile.Team Leadership skills and experience to manage a mid-sized team of 8-10 developers.Personal Attributes
