Job Description :
Key Responsibilities :
- Requirements Gathering : Conduct requirement gathering sessions with Global Process Owners, Business Process Owners, Senior Technology Managers, Project Managers, Developers, End Users, and the QA / UAT Testing team via interviews, meetings, and workshops to understand project / client needs.
- Stakeholder Management : Work closely with global and business process owners, technical and solution BAs, service desk teams, and developers to align business requirements with technical solutions.
- Documentation : Create and maintain detailed documentation such as Change Request Documents (CRD), Business Requirement Documents (BRD), JIRA tickets, BPMN (Flowcharts), and Scope documents to clearly capture business requirements.
- Analysis and Feasibility : Conduct feasibility studies, impact analysis, and estimation of changes or enhancements in collaboration with relevant stakeholders.
- Process Analysis : Analyze current business processes and workflows, identify gaps or inefficiencies, and recommend IT solutions to enhance operational efficiency.
- Collaboration : Act as a liaison between business users, the IT team, and vendors, ensuring alignment between technology solutions and business requirements.
- Reporting & Analytics : Assist in creating reports and dashboards that track performance and KPIs for various stakeholders.
Required Skills and Qualifications :
Education : Bachelors or Masters degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.Experience : Minimum 3 - 5 years of experience in business analysis within IT departments, preferably in the fintech, banking, or financial services industry.Technical Knowledge : Understanding of system architecture, software development life cycle (SDLC), and project management methodologies (Agile / Scrum).Analytical Skills : Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to understand complex systems and business workflows.Documentation & Communication Skills : Ability to clearly document and present business and technical requirements, and excellent verbal and written communication skills.Tools : Proficiency in business analysis tools like JIRA, MS Visio, BPMN, Confluence, and reporting tools. Familiarity with SQL and data migration processes is a plus.Domain Knowledge : Knowledge of MSME financing, invoice discounting, and receivables management systems (preferred but not mandatory).(ref : hirist.tech)
