Position Overview :

We are seeking a Director of Engineering to lead our product engineering organization, drive innovation, and scale our next-generation enterprise platform. This leadership role demands a strong blend of strategic vision, organizational management, and technology oversight, ensuring delivery of scalable, secure, and high-performance solutions aligned with business goals.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leading large engineering teams, building enterprise-grade SaaS platforms, and collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver cutting-edge solutions in a highly agile environment.

Key & Strategy :

Define and execute the engineering vision in alignment with organizational strategy.
Provide leadership to multiple engineering teams, setting goals, metrics, and accountability frameworks.
Drive innovation by fostering a culture of creativity, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Engineering Management :

Oversee full product lifecycle from architecture to deployment and operations.

Establish engineering best practices, coding standards, and robust processes for delivery.

Ensure scalability, reliability, security, and performance of the platform.

Cross-functional Collaboration :

Partner with Product Management, Analytics, and Technology teams to shape product roadmaps.

Influence business stakeholders with data-driven insights and engineering feasibility assessments.

Act as the engineering anchor for strategic initiatives and platform enhancements.

Talent Development & Team Building :

Build, mentor, and retain high-performing engineering teams.

Foster a growth-oriented environment, focusing on skill development and leadership grooming.

Attract and develop top engineering talent aligned with Digital Harbors innovation culture.

Innovation & Execution Excellence :

Drive adoption of emerging technologies to build future-ready platforms.

Encourage development of reusable assets, frameworks, and accelerators.

Balance technical depth with business outcomes to deliver value-driven products.

Qualifications & Experience :

15+ years of engineering experience with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.

Proven expertise in building multi-tenant, scalable SaaS platforms with high security standards.

Strong background in Java technologies with an ability to guide platform-level decisions.

Deep understanding of distributed systems, data modeling, performance optimization, and enterprise-grade software design.

Demonstrated success in bringing innovative software products to market.

Strong experience managing agile teams and scaling engineering organizations.

Leadership Competencies :

Outstanding communication and presentation skills, capable of engaging both technical and non-technical audiences.
