We are seeking a qualified and experienced Chartered Accountant to lead the finance operations for one of our most prestigious clients. The selected candidate will be responsible for end-to-end financial management, overseeing a team of two, ensuring timely and accurate reporting, and acting as the primary liaison between our firm and the client's finance and management teams.
Key Responsibilities :
- Team Supervision & Review :
- Supervise and guide a team of two junior accountants.
- Review their work to ensure accuracy and compliance with applicable accounting standards.
- Financial Closing :
- Oversee and manage the month-end and year-end close process.
- Ensure all journal entries, reconciliations, and adjustments are completed in a timely manner.
- Coordinate with operations, GST and tax teams for related functional support
- Ensure book close in a timely manner
- MIS Reporting :
- Prepare, review, and deliver monthly MIS reports.
- Provide analysis and commentary on variances and key financial metrics.
- Client Coordination :
- Act as the point of contact for the client's finance team and senior management.
- Ensure smooth day-to-day operations and address any financial or operational issues.
- Compliance & Controls :
- Ensure books are maintained in accordance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain internal controls and suggest improvements to processes and systems.
Candidate Requirements :
Qualifications : Chartered Accountant (CA) – mandatory.Experience : Minimum 3 years of relevant post-qualification experience.Skills :Strong accounting and financial reporting knowledge.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Leadership capabilities with experience managing small teams.Proficiency in Tally, Excel, and accounting / ERP software.Ability to work independently and liaise effectively with senior stakeholders.Show more
