Experience in Automotive Exterior / Interior / Chassis / Electrical systems and their Design & Release management.

Product costing knowledge preferably with techno-commercial experience.

Proficiency in costing procedures and clear understanding of the cost and sourcing activities throughout the new program development.

Cost Negotiation skills and attention to detail on cost and sourcing strategies.

Calculate zero-based cost for the above commodities.

Expertise in should-cost analysis.

CTC :

Upto 12 LPA (Short notice Mandatory – 30 Days’ Notice Period)

Domain Knowledge :

Excellent communication skills.

Good knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Powerpoint).

Ability to work without supervision.

Proficiency in cost analysis software and tools.

Aware of CAD software and Enterprise solution (PLM).

Job Description :

Note : Job Family will be decided based on the actual experience.

Track and report cost status from program start to launch.

Lead cost trade-off discussion with Cross Functional Teams.

Work with supplier and Cost Estimation team for quotes / estimates for engineering changes.

Facilitate Team-of -4 meetings with Finance, Buyer and Cost Estimation teams.

Negotiate with suppliers on Material, Tooling cost and Engineering Design & Testing costs throughout the program.

Maintain a change tracker for the cost status throughout the program and report out.

Lead cost approval discussions in all cost forums, including Senior Management forums.

Benchmark competition cost data and come up with VAVE ideas.

Identify and recommend ways to optimize the cost of a system.

Support and track status of supplier onboard into the program.

Prepare Long Lead Funding estimates.

Track and report tool / purchase orders status to engineers.
