Role Overview :

We are seeking a qualified and compassionate Hematologist to join our team at the Chiplun branch. The role involves diagnosing and treating a wide range of blood disorders and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities :

Diagnose and manage hematological disorders (anemias, clotting disorders, hemoglobinopathies, leukemias, lymphomas, etc.).

Perform and oversee procedures such as bone marrow aspirations / biopsies, transfusions, and related interventions.

Develop individualized treatment plans and coordinate care with oncologists and other specialists.

Provide patient counseling, monitor progress, and maintain accurate medical records.

Mentor junior doctors and participate in training and hospital committees.

Qualifications :

MD / DNB in Internal Medicine or Pediatrics with DM / DNB in Hematology or equivalent qualification.

Minimum 2 years’ experience in clinical hematology (preferred).

Strong knowledge of hematology protocols, transfusion practices, and latest advancements.

Excellent communication, decision-making, and teamwork skills.
