We are seeking an experienced SAP SD Consultant with strong expertise in Sales and Distribution processes in both SAP R / 3 and S / 4HANA environments.
The ideal candidate will have a solid background in SAP implementations, configuration, and support, along with the ability to work closely with business stakeholders to translate requirements into effective, deployable solutions.
This role requires a mix of functional knowledge, hands-on configuration skills, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure seamless operations and system performance.
Key Responsibilities :
- Work with business stakeholders, particularly at plant and operations levels, to understand business requirements and translate them into SAP solutions.
- Configure and support SAP SD processes including master data such as Business Partner,
Pricing, Material Master, and Output Master.
Resolve day-to-day operational issues and provide timely support to ensure smooth businessoperations.
Analyze, design, and implement SAP SD solutions aligned with organizational requirements.Possess in-depth knowledge of SAP R / 3 and S / 4HANA SD processes and their integration withMM, FI, and APO modules.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design end-to-end solutions and manageintegration points across modules.
Participate in full lifecycle SAP implementation projects including requirement gathering, solution design, configuration, testing, deployment, and support.Provide training, documentation, and guidance to key users and business stakeholders.Continuously identify opportunities to optimize and improve SD processes through systemenhancements or best :
Minimum of 45 years of domain or industry experience in Sales & Distribution processes.5+ years of consulting experience in SAP SD with proven expertise in implementation andsupport projects.
Strong academic background in Engineering, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.Required Skills :
Strong background in SAP projects including full lifecycle implementations, rollouts, and support engagements.Deep knowledge of core SD processes including order-to-cash, pricing, billing, shipping, andlogistics execution.
Expertise in SAP SD configuration and customization.Strong understanding of integration between SD and other SAP modules (MM, FI, APO).Problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex system andprocess issues.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.Preferred Skills :
Cross-functional knowledge across additional SAP modules such as WM / EWM, FI, APO, orothers.
Exposure to S / 4HANA migration or greenfield implementation projects.Knowledge of SAP Fiori applications for SD processes.Experience in working with offshore / onshore models and global business teams(ref : hirist.tech)
